Winemaker's Notes: This old vine Garnacha comes from high altitude, low yielding vineyards in Calatayud. This region in north-central Spain is home to some of the oldest Garnacha vines in the world, and the resulting wines are dense, concentrated, and packed with flavor. Full-bodied, juicy, and supple, this one offers up notes of ripe berries, clove, white pepper, and toasty oak.
