On the Lamb is a unique English pale ale style originating in Wales. The Welsh prefer late kettle hops to early hops, making for a less bitter beer than a traditional English pale ale. The dialed back bittering charge allows the East Kent Golding hops to shine: earthy and floral on the nose and floral and slightly herbal in flavor. On the Lamb finishes a little sweet due to low-attenuating English yeast and a healthy addition of Maris Otter and English Caramel malt to the grist. And we believe you’d be hard pressed to find a more beautiful beer in the glass.
